I'll be honest — the idea of starting this blog has been circling in my head for a long time. Not because I have some impressive investing track record to show off, but because I'm just an ordinary person trying to figure out how to build a more secure life for myself and the people I care about.

There's one thing I truly believe: financial freedom isn't a privilege reserved for the wealthy. Ordinary people, through disciplined investing, good money habits, and a little patience, can absolutely get there. It's not an easy road — but it's a road worth taking.

What Financial Independence Means to Me

For me, financial independence isn't about "I can buy whatever I want." It's much simpler than that —

It means waking up every morning without the knot of anxiety about bills in my stomach. It means working because I want to, not because I have to. It means one day being able to be present for my family — watching my kids grow up, spending time with my parents as they age — instead of being chained to a job I can't walk away from.

In plain terms: having enough reliable passive income to cover my living expenses, without having to sell my time and energy just to survive. That's the place I'm trying to reach.

Why I'm Writing This Blog

A few reasons:

• To keep myself honest. Writing things down forces you to think clearly. I want to document what I've learned, the mistakes I've made, and the decisions that worked out — as a mirror for my own reflection.
• To help others on the same path. If you're also asking yourself, "How do I stop worrying about money all the time?" — I hope my experience gives you some direction or at least a sense that you're not alone.
• To stay committed. Putting something public is a kind of promise. It pushes me to keep learning and keep acting, instead of just talking about it.

I won't tell you "follow my picks and you'll get rich." What I will tell you is what I actually did, why I did it, and what happened — the wins and the losses alike.
